I've begun the transition into bbLean 1.17.1. It's been easier than expected but I haven't gotten into the difficult stuff yet. I really spent most of today doing things, finishing things I had started in the previous days.
The nicest parts about working on 1.17.1 is that it's a clean start so I can take some time to figure things out, I don't have to take requests to a T as I already have a todo list I can work on in any order I want, and it serves as a nice distraction with no interaction with people. At this current time I'm not really happy and I need the seclusion and projects to keep my mind off of things.
Tuesday, January 3, 2012 - I spent almost 2 hours just commenting a single file. Breaking it down so it was much easier to comprehend how things were put together. It wasn't hard to figure out, but the comments made it so much easier to follow. I would eventually like to do this everywhere, but there is quite a bit I don't fully understand.
I'm trying to get in touch with Carsomyr to see if he wants to, or can, help with the project. boxCore has the volume functionality required to work properly in Vista/7 a long with many other enhancements. Perhaps he will convince me to use his branch as opposed to bbLean 1.17.1. We'll see what happens. =]
